Cooper River Raptors Travel Softball Sponsorship

Founded in 2019, the Cooper River Raptors travel softball program provides girls in Mount Pleasant and the greater Charleston area the opportunity to play high-level, competitive softball. A 501c3 organization (Tax ID: 84-2580455), the Raptors were formed to help close a gap in the level of competition, instruction, and accessibility available to local female athletes with aspirations of playing in high school and beyond. Today, the Raptors are the only organization in the area that offers 10U, 12U, 14U, High School, and developmental teams. We are led by a group of volunteer coaches with several decades of coaching experience and an unwavering commitment to provide a learning environment that is safe, rewarding, and positive…an environment where girls are encouraged to challenge their physical and mental acuity on and off the field.

Where do your sponsorship dollars go?

Sponsorship dollars are used to help cover the costs of equipment, uniforms, tournament entry fees, logistics, and most significantly, rental fees to utilize town facilities for practices. For context, Mount Pleasant field usage fees run upwards of $1,500 per month for just two practices per week per team…now multiply that by 5 teams! Unfortunately, Mount Pleasant field usage fees are the highest in the area. While Mount Pleasant is among the most affluent towns in the state of South Carolina, our Raptors families do not have unlimited financial resources and that is why we are asking you for your support.
